cyber dance records are proud to present their first album release >messages from the void vol. 2<. after six years of gaining a worthy reputation for only releasing the finest material from up and coming electronic artists such as andy romano, matzo & pauli, mark du mosch, brassica, ali renault and many more they finally showcase on double-vinyl and cd a compilation that confidently re-defines the sound of the label in more exciting and varied directions at once than ever before. consisting of eleven tracks that range from electro to synth-pop and from italo to disco-funk, the album features contributions from cyber dance regulars like mark du mosch, ali renault and tommy walker 3 alongside tracks from emerging artists like bill ambrose, brassica, meschi and serious lover and also the more mysterious night system and martin aston.
after rising very quickly to the top of the pile with his own brand of no nonsense beats and bass party rockers, pimpsoul delivers a full original artist ep on the home of all things dancefloor, bombstrikes! and we think it s a scorcher.
the sixth release of >lets get lost< which is started by mule musiq and force of natures kza. this is kzas third relase on lets get lost. a side is a garage classic >holding back< by paradise girls which arthur storey jr& paul simpson produced together. this song have been played by larry levan on the last day of paradise garage. kza edited to mixable and longer version. b side, >need u tonight< is a killer 80s boogie classic by canadian producer jerry cucuzzella. original is 3min short track(&expensive!),this is dj friendly long edit. >estrella< is 80s brazilian boogie song which is produced by leon ware. this song is very good fusion of brazilian music and urban disco sounds. kza is working for long awaited new album of force of nature. we will see very soon!
portable strikes back on karat 8 years after his first appearance on the label. hes now delivering two massive tunes that gonna smash any dancefloor around the planet. >inside your mind< is a build up track with a proper vocal describing different levels of consciousness, and about the way of living your inner thoughts. this is a true masterpiece, already charted by a lot of djs and surely a future karat classic. >the gheto escapes< is a floor burner, acid stomper track that never stops to push up the pressure. portable releases here the more dance orientated record of his career and be sure this one will satisfy any kind of djs, from the house heads to the proper techno addicts. one infinite loop is hidden at the end of the first side. enjoy

signals is the label from the guys behind the newcastle based club night road to rimini in the uk and for their first pressing they present uk duo the one. the one are drummer joe ryan and vocalist emeson nwolie. for this, their debut 12inch, they offer two sublime cuts that give delicate nods to the vocal chicago house of fingers inc and the 80s soul of alexander o neal, jam & lewis and the s.o.s band. remix comes courtesy of den haags finest, legowelt (aka danny wolfers) who provides a deep chicago, smacked out version of the title track. an edition of 200 hand numbered, 12inch black vinyl with limited a3 artwork insert.
the fourth release of >lets get lost< which is started by mule musiq and force of natures kza. this new release is by thomas bullock aka rub n tug/map of africa/welcome stranger. i guess the introduction about him is not necessary. on the a side, thomas edited the disco version of jolene by olivia newtone-john (original is country rock from dolly parton 1974). on the other side, its a rework of >zz top-i wanna drive you home < . this rework is like a thomass original production.you can comparevery easily with map of africa or his another moniker. both tracks are very cool rock oriented disco stuff. dont miss this rare thomas s edit release
the house nerds with 2 killer tracks for lovers of rekids & cabin fever. mystery bells >down deep and dark< went the name of an old strictly rhythm compilation and thats a pretty good description of mystery bells. 909 beats propel this monster along with the payoff coming via a big-room breakdown. follow that with a variety of skippy sp1200 drum programming to finish it off. (did we mention the bells?) huge. library session no. 4 is bouncy proto-garage mixes together with spaced out vocal samples and some serious chordage. channeling old downtown 161 vibes into the present day, the nerds provide a nice counter-measure to the darker sounds of mystery bells.
the third release of the new label >lets get lost< which was started by mule musiq and force of natures kza. this third release is by uk producer extrodinaire leo zeros remix of the uks florence & the machine. this leo zero remix was released on only cd single and itunes in 2009. when i received this remix from the agent of leo zero i fell in love with it immediately. it was one of the biggest tracks for me in the last year but was never released on vinyl. leo zero reconstructed the aesthetic alternative rock (like a pumping cocteau twins!?) to very emotional house music. its simply good music and not only for the dance floor. greg wilson has edited it into a semi instrumental version which has never been released on any format. this release is official bootleg for limited press! dont miss it!!
big twelve from us label slant featuring glasgow s edit select and alex smoke. label owner let s go outside supplies the b-side.slant s fourth 12 yields two mighty pieces of techno. one side is let s go outside s epic valentino , the other is the absolutely wicked the retainer from edit select and alex smoke. all the criteria for a classic split are met and well exceeded here.the pairing of edit select and alex smoke is simply brilliant. the a side s the retainer is crowd control. alex s signature vocal cut ups and chugging percussion layered atop edit select s hypnotic, repetitive style make for a true techno masterpiece.on the aa side, let s go outside throws down a deep, seductive, tough cut with valentino . airy pads float atop pulsing bass and a subtle, driving orchestra of percussion and static. the entire piece slowly ebbs before crashing down, repeating, the pace deliberate and guided by soft words about first loves.

1986, chicago. jody fingers finch is 18, not yet able to gain access to all of the spaces in which his first production will soon get airplay. he saves up the cash himself and records it in the basement of staple singers member bob murphy, who prefers the moniker bm recording studio. one 8-track reel-to-reel machine, one afternoon, $200 cash. a handful of cuts are recorded, including a stripped-raw, bare-bones track jody calls jack your big booty, an undercover piéce de résistance about his friends mothers backside. another is dubbed whistle worm, a meandering, experimental ride, riddled with strange noises and staccato high hats. bob murphy is likely confused. the tracks are brutally raw, lo-fi at best
